Mates Spirits wants to offer the world a great rum in the best possible way by using and blending natural products. They strongly believe in not adding sugar, additives or packaging materials that harm this world. Mates uses three different rums in their blend. From Barbados, they take an English-style rum, which adds softness to the overall drink. Dominican rum, which is of a more Spanish style, adds greater sweetness. Finally, some Jamaican rum has been added, which gives it a slight fruitiness.
The mission of Mates is to unite people on beaches, parks, cities, and forests and enjoy life together. Mates rum stands for uniting, not only with mates but also with drinks, don't be afraid to mix or shake Mates because it can be used very widely.

Mates began his journey here in the Netherlands in 2019 when Bart and two of his Mates Mates Spirits officially registered and blended their first 3,000 bottles of Mates Gold Rum.

Without adding extra sugar or other additives, Mates use three different rums in their blend. From Barbados, they take an English-style rum, which adds softness to the overall drink. Dominican rum, which is of a more Spanish style, adds greater sweetness. Finally, some Jamaican rum has been added, which adds a slight fruitiness.
The overall result has a natural sweetness (it's rum!) , and is fruity and soft. The ideal drink for when you're with your buddies!
Mates signature serve is a Light 'n Sunny. In a large glass filled with ice, add 50 ml of Mates Gold Rum and top up with 150-200 ml of Fentimans Ginger Ale and garnish with a slice of lemon.

Mates White Rum is a unique blend of different types of rums from Barbados, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica that have been blended with a 3-year-old rum from Trinidad. Each of these young rums brings its own style and flavor that together result in a white rum that is perfect to mix.
Mates rum is “Made by Mates, for Mates”
If you love a cocktail, Mates White Rum will work perfectly. For a classic Mojito, mix a few mint leaves in a large glass with 20 ml of freshly squeezed lime juice, 15 ml of sugar water and 50 ml of Mates White Rum. Fill with crushed ice, top up with soda water, stir and add a lime wedge as a garnish.

Mates XO brings together two amazing 8-year-old rums from Barbados and the Dominican Republic. Mates has combined these two celebrated spirits with their 5- to 8-year-old rum from Nicaragua to create the Mates XO. All three countries are known for their unique traditions of fermentation, distillation, and maturation. Mates has blended these specific countries into a beautiful Caribbean base with a South American touch. This makes the Rum nice and round and gives you a buttery feeling. Not too high in ABV to let you enjoy it even more smoothly.

Arrack, een sterkte drank uit Azië wat in de vergetelheid is geraakt wordt nieuw leven in geblazen door de samenwerking van Michelinsterren chef Jermain de Rozario en Mates rum. Zij willen de rijke geschiedenis van Arrack nieuw leven inblazen door het te combineren met de eigentijdse kwalitatieve rum van Mates. Er wordt gebruik gemaakt van uniek gemengde Batavia arrack uit Indonesië en het melasse gewonnen uit origineel Javaans suikerriet. De drank wordt tweemaal gedistilleerd in oude chinese pot stills en vervolgens zes maanden gerijpt in teakhouten vaten. De combinatie van de Arrack en Mates gold maakt deze rum complex, meeslepend en toegankelijk tegelijk.
