In 1834, a young Danish pharmacist, Albert Heinrich Riise, employed by the Royal Military Pharmacist in Copenhagen, was approached by representatives of the Danish government and offered him the opportunity to become the first officially licensed pharmacy in the flourishing port of St. Establishing Thomas.

A. H. Riise X.O. Reserve is a celebration of an old friendship between two unique men, King Haakon VII of Norway and Valdemar Riise. On the occasion of this 175th anniversary, this brown X.O. rum was released as a tribute. The rum has been allowed to mature for a long time in PX Sherry and Oloroso casks, among others, giving it this characteristic color.
Smell: Intense note of vanilla in its aroma, strong and present with underlying notes of orange and soft forest fruits
Taste: However, its taste starts with a nice portion of caramel with a hint of walnut, underlined by a fruity note that manages to balance the whole thing.
Finish: A long, warming finish.

A. H. Riise Ambre D'Or Reserve is a beautiful golden rum from Denmark. It consists of various spicy rum variants from both the West Indies and the United States of America. This meeting is then aged for some time in oak barrels that previously had sweet wine on them.
Smell: Soft hint of hay, full of sweet vanilla and a core of floral notes
Taste: Buttered cinnamon with a hint of crème brulée. The taste takes a slight turn thanks to a start of light citrus followed by vanilla,
