Concept
The Black Gem Collection (consisting of three unique variants) is inspired by the rare black gemstones hidden deep beneath the bottom and waters of the West Indies.
These mysterious and precious gems represent not only the beauty of the region, but also the rich history and roots of rum. It is here, in the heart of the Caribbean, that the essence of rum was first awakened, and where the traditions of distilling this noble beverage have their origins.

Information
Each edition in the Black Gem Collection is a tribute to the secrets and treasures that lie beneath the earth's surface and in the deepest waters of this region. The gems, considered symbols of rarity and strength, reflect the artisanal techniques and craftsmanship incorporated into each bottle of rum. The second Black Gem in the collection is Black Larimar, inspired by a rare form of Larimar found deep in the earth of the West Indies and Central America. It is the same rich, fertile soil that also nourishes the sugar cane plant, whose sugar is processed in our “Black Gem Collection. In addition to its undeniable beauty, Black Larimar is thought to calm the mind and promote clear communication - both in expressing yourself and listening to others. It evokes a state of mind that reminds one of enjoying a glass of Black Larimar shared with close friends.
