Salud Spirits is proud to present the 6th edition of the Chichibu 7even Gods of Fortune series called: Daikokuten. Since medieval times, the 7 gods of fortune have been worshiped in Japan, especially during the New Year. Each god represents luck, but also has certain characteristics and associations.
One of the 7EVEN Gods of Fortune is Daikokuten: the god of trade and prosperity, and he is sometimes seen as the protector of cooks, farmers and bankers, as well as protector of crops. He is also considered a demon hunter - legend has it that the god Daikokuten hung a holy talisman on the branch of a tree in his garden as a trap to catch a demon with it. This god is characterized by his smile, his short legs and the hat on his head. He is usually depicted with a bag full of valuables.

The 7EVEN Gods of Fortune series is a collaboration with WARBB; one of the fastest growing digital and NFT designers of our time. His digital art can be defined as colorful, mixed with depth and nature. Robbin Snijders, the person behind WARBB, said, “When I was approached by this wonderful whisky brand I was immediately excited. It is an honor to contribute to the overall customer experience and for me it is the ultimate way to bring my art to life. I want to immerse the proud owner of this rare Chichibu bottle in a world I created; the world of WARBB.” Ichiro Akuto, the owner of the Chichibu distillery, is known as the rock star of the Japanese whisky industry. Perhaps the most influential person in Japanese whisky right now, who has taken Chichibu and his family's closed distillery Hanyu to new heights. Each year, Mr. Akuto releases two single casks for Salud BV and Salud GmbH. The 7EVEN Gods of Fortune is a project of the Salud Holding Group. Everything about this project is special, said Maurice van Vliet, CEO of the company. We are celebrating the launch of this release with an exclusive dinner catered by Jermain de Rozario of restaurant de Rozario in Helmond. The dinner will be accompanied by our amazing Japanese Chichibu's and other special releases that we will launch in 2025. Even the Japanese ambassador to the Netherlands is present on this special occasion. It could be the last series we do, we will see, but right now we are enjoying every moment.
