It started in 1897 when the Brazilian Alberto Santos Dumont (born 1873) was a world-renowned aviation pioneer, nobleman and style icon. He was the heir to a wealthy plantation dynasty. Rum and cachaça were distilled from sugar cane grown on the family plantation. Today, Santos Dumont is made from fresh Brazilian sugar cane juice mixed with molasses-based rum from the West Indies and Central America. Santos Dumont, like few others, chooses to compose the two types of rum in a way that can only be described as Santos Dumont. Inspired by his achievements, we pushed the boundaries for outstanding craftsmanship in every Santos Dumont creation and united Santos Dumont's spirit in every bottle and drop.

The story, label, and color all refer to the historical reference to Santos Dumont and his hometown, which used to be called Palmira. After becoming known worldwide for his life's work, the city was renamed “Santos Dumont”, as it is still called today. While cachaça is traditionally made from sugar cane in Brazil, it belongs to Santos Dumont Blend in a separate category. The golden drops are aged in former sweet wine barrels and rounded off by the fine distillates of the Santos Dumont line.
Smell: Aromas of fresh apricots, roasted marshmallows and sweet tobacco, with a hint of honey and ripe fruit.
Taste: Mature sweet oak, soft and soft, with a smooth complexity, tropical fruit, sultanas along with noble rotting from the maturation of sweet vines.
Finish: Long lasting, smooth, creamy.
Signature drink: Pure with ice.

This Super Premium Rum Elixir Liqueur is made from 100% Virgin Sugar Cane Honey. It is aged in old Bourbon and Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks, according to the old Santos Dumont family recipe. Each barrel has been specially selected and is bottled by hand by the Santos Dumont Master Distiller.
Smell: Sweet and fruity aromas, slightly spicy, ripe fruit, woody notes.
Taste: Warm, soft, fruity, fermented fruit.
